Sep 01 2009

The day started with beuatiful pullback entry at 11 on SVA for a lightening fast 40 something cents play; then RIMM yieleded a few long plays, AIG and SVA provided nice bounces. Two small stops were throuwn in for a good measure. All in all, September started out great.

[10:34] {Threei} - GM: -16%e (usually released around 1:45pmET).
[10:34] {Threei} - Chrysler: -5.5%e

[10:49] {ese} vad...how does that work with my shares of eslr.....if the company is bought do my shares trade under the aquiring ticker or do they still trade under the ESLR ticker?
[10:50] {larisa} depends on agreement between companies
[10:50] {Threei} yeah
[10:50] {larisa} diff scenario possible
[10:50] {Threei} usually it's in the terms of buyout
[10:50] {Threei} let's say:
[10:50] {Threei} shareholders obtain xx shares of suitor for each shares of ESLR
[10:51] {Threei} then you'll have new shares
[10:51] {Threei} or in case of cash buyout
[10:51] {Threei} you'll get cash
[10:51] {Threei} at the buyout price
[10:51] {ese} right
[10:51] {ese} got it
[10:51] {Threei} and the worst scenario possible is if buyout price is lower than your average
[10:52] {Threei} no more upside
