[05:16] {Threei} but as obscure stock gets too much recognition and following, it goes mainstream and becomes harder
[05:16] {hawkfan4} i like it. that's kind of why i haven't made any calls in the room, because i sit thru bigger stops and intraday drawdowns on some of my positions. Like yesterday i started buying WFR at 69.60 and bought it down to 68.90. Made good money, but someone else would've had to bail for a loss b4 it worked.
[05:17] {Threei} another analogy is a stage at which you start paying attention to the stock and particpating in it... early stage is the most priftable, and when the crowd discovers it, move is over
[05:17] {Threei} if bigger stops match your approach/personality, nothing's worng with that
[05:20] {hawkfan4} my biggest problem is that it occasionally leads to a big down day when i'm wrong with my market read. That's something i'm working on, basically not overtrading is my biggest problem.

[05:21] {Threei} I mean, with wider stops loss is naturally bigger,
[05:21] {Threei} and those days when things don't work will of course will be losing days, and size of loss will be proportional to the width of stops
[05:22] {Threei} when things go in your favor, size of your win is also bigger than average scalpers
[05:22] {Threei} so it's just a matter of scale
[05:22] {Threei} you can't have srtops/losses equal to scalping ones and wins equal to swing trader ones, right?

[05:23] {Threei} as MPP says... all the elements of your trading style should be aligned
[05:24] {Threei} try to keep narrow stops of scalping world while basing your entires on swing setups, and you will be shaken out regularly
[05:24] {Threei} simply because a stop is being placed within area of natural volatility
[05:25] {Threei} and is hit before setup has a chance to work
[05:25] {Threei} when everything's aligned, stop is placed at the level of significance
[05:25] {Threei} and this level will not be the same for a scalping setup vs swing trading setup
[05:26] {hawkfan4} i'm still putting it all together, tweaking everything. You and Dino have been very helpful to me, just watching the way you handle situations, the concept of stress free trading, it's worth working towards
